catering FAQ’s

How do I place a catering order?
If your event is less than 24 hours away, please call The Joint at 270-601-5083 so we can get your meat smokin’. We will be happy to assist you in determining what you need and how much. If you have a scheduled event 2 days away or more and would like to request a catering quote, click here and submit your request.

What is considered a catering order?
Catering is for 15 or more people. For less than 15 people, order through the restaurant or online.

Do you deliver?
Yes! If your order is $100 or more, we will deliver it locally for free. If you are more than 10 miles from The Joint, we will then charge a delivery fee of $1.25 per mile.

How do I estimate the amount of meat I will need for my event?
Usually, you want to estimate 1/4 lb per person. This amount makes for a nice sandwich. The Joint team will be happy to assist you in determining what amount you need of each item. Once you submit a catering inquiry, we will then estimate how many pounds of each item you will need.

How many meat options should I offer for my event?
Usually we recommend offering two options of meats. This is totally up to the individual or group. Often times it is nice to offer a chicken and a pork option due to potential food allergies amongst the group.

How many side options do I need to feed my group?
Often times for catering, your guests like to have 2-3 side options to choose from.

Do you provide beverages and ice?
Yes, we offer gallons of tea or lemonade, canned cokes, and bottled water. We also offer bagged ice for $2.75 for a 20lb bag.

Do you provide staff for catering?
Yes, team members are available for events of 50+. Team members are $35/member for 3 hours, plus 20% gratuity.

Does staffed catering include set-up, buffet maintenance and clean up?
Yes, the team will set up, manage the buffet, and clean up. Other services are available as well.

How do I keep my food warm?
Disposable wire racks are available for purchase or for nicer events, we have stainless chaffing dishes you can rent.
